The EESZT mobile application is the official application for generating and querying health documents and Covid certificates in Hungary. It is operated by the Ministry of the Interior (BM) on behalf of the Government of Hungary.

The EU digital Covid ID is a digitally accessible document that allows you to travel within the 27 Member States of the European Union without epidemiological restrictions - such as quarantine.

The application provides a simple and convenient solution for all citizens with a TAJ number and a Customer Portal to display their Hungarian vaccination certificate, EU vaccination certificate, EU test certificate and EU recovery certificate using their mobile device throughout the European Union.
The application, provided free of charge by the Electronic Health Service Space, certifies the protection of the data subject after identifying the data subject - based on the health data stored in the EESZT.
The following certificates can be displayed in the application:

• Hungarian vaccination certificate
• EU vaccination certificate
• EU test certificate
• EU recovery certificate

The data content displayed in each certificate has been developed in accordance with the applicable legislation. Each certificate has a QR code, which can be checked with the EESZT Covid Control application. The verification applications of the individual member states are also suitable for checking EU certificates. The application can be used with customer portal login data. The application will ask for the user's social security number for security reasons the first time.

Later, it is possible to enable simplified login. With simplified login, it is possible to display already downloaded certificates - even without an internet connection.
